ITERIG

ITERIG is a GLASSHALF project for building affordable, customizable MIDI controllers with widely available development boards.

Instead of asking musicians to adapt to a finished product, ITERIG helps them build a controller around their own equipment, workflow, and way of playing. The project aims to make each step approachable: choosing a board, connecting switches, encoders, displays, and MIDI I/O, then configuring the behavior a particular setup needs.

ITERIG is not a single finished device. It is a practical foundation that can be modified, expanded, and rebuilt—so a first DIY controller can grow into a personal tool that remains understandable to the person who made it.
